PASSOVER HIJACKING AND HIJINKS – by R’ Michael Skobac Each year, numerous missionary churches and Messianic congregations co-opt the holiday of Passover, claiming that it proclaims a Christian message. The Christian bible compares Jesus to the Paschal lamb (John 1:29) and insists that he died as a sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world (I Cor. 15:3, I John 2:2).

Good, Bad and Both – Isaiah 53; Deuteronomy 31:27; Numbers 23:21 Christians point to Isaiah’s prophecy recorded in Chapter 52 verse 13 through 53 verse 12 as the most obvious proof to the legitimacy of Jesus’ claims. The prophecy describes a servant of God who suffers for the sins of the world. Who else can this be but Jesus

Dr. Brown’s Teaching on Biblical Interpretation In Volume 2, on page 94, Dr. Brown presents a teaching on the correct method of Biblical interpretation: “…it would be highly unlikely ‑ to put it mildly‑ that the Lord would hang a major life‑critical Torah revising revelation, on just one verse, especially when that verse in the original Hebrew is somewhat obscure grammatically…”.
